Spacefest Continues is a gathering with events taking place from 23–25 July 2026 at UofA and Starr Pass Resort in Tucson, Arizona. It carries forward the legacy of Spacefest, founded by Kim Poor and continued by his family after his untimely passing in 2017. This event will include as many of the classic Spacefest elements as possible — including space talks, book signings, art exhibits, vendor displays, and possibly field trips.
We encourage attendees to view this primarily as an opportunity to reconnect with old friends from Spacefests past and to proudly fly your space geek flag for a few days. While we will include many familiar “flavors of Spacefest,” this will not be on the same scale as the original Spacefests I–XI. (We wish we could, but we can’t!).
- Tickets & Pricing (Click on the Tickets box upper right corner or here!) Price: $250 per person (only for the early birds through July 14th, after that the regular rate will be $400)
- Includes: Admission to the Friday and Saturday events (talks, art show, vendors, and signings)
- Attendance cap: Fewer than 100 attendees to maintain a small-group experience.
Only two weeks to go before our beloved gathering starts! Unfortunately Dee O’Hara is unable to attend this year. She sends her regrets, her love to everyone, and tells us she hopes and expects to make it to the next one. Our fearless leaders/organizers have created something to ease the pain. Join space historians Francis French and Jay Gallentine for The Rematch! at Spacefest Continues 2026 on SATURDAY July 26, where one of space history’s longest-running (and friendliest? I think) debates returns to the ring: human vs. robotic space exploration. Only at Spacefest Continues. Get your tickets while you still can, we’re almost sold out!
The countdown clock is ticking and we’ll have lift-off soon for our Spacefest Continues gathering.
